I can’t wait until artists like Sacramento-based Skinner are commissioned to design candy packaging or toys or children’s bed sheets. As gruesome and completely insane as some of his images are, I would have stared at them for hours when I was ten. Hell, I’m staring at them for hours now.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
