With spring fully arrived, it’s brought with it the return of the Brooklyn Flea, a mecca for crafts, vintage and food. Having gone out of my way to attend the Fort Greene flea almost every Saturday since it began almost a month ago — to stuff my face with the myriad gastronomical indulgences available and peruse the amazing wares set out on folding tables throughout the courtyard of Bishop Loughlin Memorial High — I only wish that I had a larger belly and more disposable income.

Among just a few of the highlights I’ve encountered so far are The Winter Water Factory, with their charming women’s and children’s clothes made from fabric printed with their own custom designs; BonBon Oiseau’s jewelry, created from various vintage elements; Morgan Levine of Amble Through Bramble and her beautiful crepe paper flowers; and Elyssa Ettinger, with her ceramics modeled after antique milk jugs and cozy knits.
