Disturbing new body art by Chooo-san

What were these people thinking? I mean, since when is having a hug zipper down your back a sign of beng attractive? These photos of acrylic paint on flesh are the brain child of 19-year-old Chooo-san. Disturbing as they are, they’re strangely impressive. Absolutely no photoshop involved.

Zipping up the human body and more

After chancing upon a picture of one of super-young (she’s 19) Japanese artist Chooo-San’s acrylic body painting works on Facebook, we had to find more. And find, we did: more zippers, buttons, laces and power sockets. Our favourite’s still the one with the zipper on the back. Wonder if we’ll see the ubiquitous ‘YKK’ on the pull-tab if we look closer.
