<p>Many moons ago, when my hair was longer and my eyes were clearer, I was the editor of Australian pop culture magazine, <a href="http://www.lostateminor.com/2008/01/09/qube-konstrukts-consort/">Riot</a>. For one issue, I commissioned an eight page illustration spread from a then little-known Italian artist named <a href="http://www.lostateminor.com/2009/09/25/combo-by-blu-and-david-ellis/">Blu</a>. He, instead, created a series of distinctive drawings burnt into panels of wood. It was mind-blowing stuff. Typically, as we now know. Blu has since become one of the most applauded street artists out there, and rightly so. His work is phenomenal, as this stop motion animation reveals.</p>

<p>We featured a series of <a href="http://www.lostateminor.com/2009/01/31/fun-fun-tristan-eaton-writes-for-us/">guest contributions</a> from iconic street artist <a href="http://www.lostateminor.com/author/shepard-fairey/">Shepard Fairey</a> recently where he wrote about the work of some of his favorite artists, photographers, bands and DJs (<a href="http://www.lostateminor.com/2009/01/20/the-futuristic-retro-sounds-of-dj-z-trip/">Z-Trip</a>, anyone?). Fairey&#8217;s iconic image of Barack Obama was featured on the cover of Time Magazine&#8217;s Person Of The Year issue, but even before that he was well known as the creator of the ubiquitous Andre The Giant sticker. His posts on Lost At E Minor covered everyone from <a href="http://www.lostateminor.com/2009/01/16/judith-supine/">Judith Supine</a>, to <a href="http://www.lostateminor.com/2009/01/20/al-farrows-gun-part-sculptures/">Al Farrow</a>, the <a href="http://www.lostateminor.com/2009/03/21/the-last-shadow-puppets/">Last Shadow Puppets</a> and <a href="http://www.lostateminor.com/2009/01/17/blus-large-scale-wall-art/">Blu</a>. <span id="more-19003"></span><br />
