Led by visual artist-researcher Kathy High, Blood Wars is a brawny science experiment that’s also a tournament where human blood samples are drawn, and the white blood cells in them pitted against each other in a petri dish. We gotta say, these white blood cells are vicious.

Since 2008, English musician and producer Theo Keating has been making music under the moniker Fake Blood. Trashing the rule book and shying away from all forms of publicity, including interviews and recognition of his actual name, Keating has become something of an enigma – wanting fans to enjoy his music without any preconceptions. Keating has dropped an EP entitled YES/NO. The three track release features haunting piano melodies, blazing synth lines and bottomless bass lines; sounding something like an apocalyptic soundtrack.

There are so many TV shows about crime, murder and serial killers, so it seems fitting enough that someone had to make interior wall murals for, well, people who like blood. Recent architecture graduate Jack Munro has found a way to make bricks out of blood. Not much more has to be said about this really. Some people find this disgusting. I think it’s rather poetic. But I’m a nutcase.
