Black Moth Super Rainbow, the analog electronics outfit from the magical forests of Pittsburgh, are set to release their latest album, Eating Us, on May 26. Judging by the teaser medley available on the Graveface website, the quintet doesn’t stray far from their acid-soaked, flute-and-vocoder-laden sound (band-founder Tom Fec aka Tobacco released a solo album, Fucked Up Friends, last year to get the sleazy club tendencies out of his system), so all you crazy kids looking for music to roll around in the grass to this summer should have something to look forward to.

We asked London-based photographer, Julia Fullerton-Batten, about her use of non-traditional models for her work: ‘I used to approach unknown people on the streets in London and ask them to take part in my photo shoots. There are so many fascinating faces accompanied with wonderful personalities around. The freshness that street cast models have, has also benefited my work immeasurably. I now don’t have the time to find the amateur models myself. But I hire a producer to source models for me’. Read more
