Mark Bradford is one of the most under-rated African- American artists, with captivating and stunning work. I first heard of him when I would glance at sites like Black Art in America as I was looking to see what was new in the black art world. I love his work and his story. His cityscapes and use of color are amazing.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
