Swapping clothes between friends isn’t a new concept, but being able to swap your designer goods online with another member is. One of the biggest clothes swapping site is Big Wardrobe, with over millions of dollars worth of free clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories to swap. It features everything from designer to High St, American Apparel to Luella.
If I were to ask any of my illustrator friends who their favorite artists are, chances are almost all of them would list Raymond Pettibon as one of them. His work is beautiful, using such confident brush strokes.
I came across Nigel Cox’s work at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. I was blown away by his remarkable, detailed figures and his minimal compositions. His paintings are subtly powerful and filled with optimism and confidence. Oh man, it’s a good thing I’m not living in Tokyo as I’d probably never leave the house. Japanese TV is the best. Want proof? Check out this clip from a prank show called Wake You Up where hapless victims are woken from their slumber in the most … ummm … ruthless of ways.
Belgian architect Vincent Callebaut is an award-winning designer with varied projects. This one, entitled The Lilypad, is nothing short of amazing. It’s an eco-city, floating on water, with the ability to accommodate upwards of 50,000 people. If built as designed, this structure (which uses most, if not all, available environmental technologies) would sustainably produce more power than it would consume.

The return of the Brionvega rr226
Italian brand Brionvega has resurrected the classy Radiofonografio piece first created in 1965. The updated version is just like the original turntable/radio unit, but also has a CD/DVD player.
