Ever since we got to know about Belgian-based photographer Frieke Janssens through her Smoking Kids work, we’ve been hoping to see more. So here it is: The Last Shot, where she shoots the ‘last portraits’ of people that they will use eventually on their graves. It’s stoically morbid and not depressingly back-and-white.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
