I grew up decorating cakes in my mom’s Baskin Robbins, so something about Margie Livingston’s creative process as she makes sculptures out of paint reminds me of squeezing multicolored decorating chocolate out of plastic bottles. Of course, her work is much more impressive than my little flowers and penguins.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
