Banksy’s back with a new documentary project, this time a cheeky look at the recent history of public pranks, and a play on the popular (read: dull) TV series, The Antiques Roadshow. The program screened last Saturday on Channel 4 in the UK. Watch on and be awed.

I watched this on Netflix after watching Banksy’s Exit Through the Giftshop and Orwell’s F is for Fake. I wish I had seen them in the opposite order: The Rape of Europa, then F is For Fake, then Exit Through the Giftshop.

All three films address the best and worst parts of art and its industry, its money, and its passion. Rape of Europa gives a good history lesson, informing the two other films, which play with the idea of reality and documentary.
