Sydney’s Dead Farmers are one of these bands. Definitely the most musical aggressive act I’ve encountered in the last two years, Dead Farmers have an intensely dirty and expansive sound that cannot be ignored. They have that wonderful talent of being so damn noisy, but not being just noise. They play frequently around Sydney and Melbourne, so if you get the chance, you should really check them out. It’s like being kicked in the guts — but in a really good way; a Fight Club kind of way.
