Grab your partner firmly by the hand and take them on an artistic weekend escape to Sydney’s Blue Mountains for the fourth annual Sculpture at Scenic World. Featuring 32 sculptures by local and international artists (including a 20-metre painting from Francesca Mataraga) along the longest boardwalk in Australia in the Jamison Valley (a whopping 2.4km!), this year’s event is running between April 15 and May 10.

Jeremiah Kille is a native of Santa Cruz, CA, who began his career as a custom surfboard builder. An opportunity working alongside renowned artist Thomas Campbell would profoundly impact him. He has since exhibited work extensively in Northern California, and currently has a Los Angeles show at PROJECT Gallery. The show runs through June 21.

Electric Coffin Marginal Way Benefit in Seattle

Electric Coffin opened the doors to a new space in Seattle’s 1020 Building last night, hosting artists and skaters for a Marginal Way art show benefit. Marginal Way is a successful DIY skatepark project. Previously the park’s location was public property in disrepair and skaters took it upon themselves to clean it up. With the support of local businesses and Seattle’s Department of Transportation, DIY construction began in 2004. It’s now a legal skatepark. Respect.
