Mr Mead is a fine artist and illustrator from Bristol. He is a traditional artist working in pen and ink mediums, often applying his practice to large scale character based pieces on reclaimed wood. The artist is driven by his obsession and childhood fear of anthropomorphism, brought on by the 1976 Royal ballet film, The Tales of Beatrix Potter.
