The best part of going to Palm Springs Modernism Week 2012 was the chance to go on a private tour of the Elrod House designed by the famed architect John Lautner. The house is composed of beautiful geometric shapes and consists of spectacular 270 degree views of the desert, which really helps integrate this massive concrete structure into its natural environment.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
