Thomas Moffett is a graphic designer and painter who lives in Greenville, SC. He is an art director at Drum Creative, and he also creates abstract acrylic paintings on wood. Moffett’s paintings allow for individual interpretation by the viewer, so each person who sees the painting can make up their own meaning and story for themselves.
I really like Austin-based artist Forrest Elliot’s mysterious, abstracted paintings. Juxtaposing thick and layered brushwork with wispy, washed-out sections, his pieces are as much about textures as they are about their subjects.
