A great series of color photographs taken between 1914 and 1918 have sprung up on one of our perennial favourite websites, Retronaut. The series offers a unique and interesting look at parts of France during the period of war: posed group shots, special candid shots and landscape and building photographs all make it into the series. Check out some of our favorites below.
FOR CREATIVE INSPIRATION
In partnership with our friends at Optus, we present the third in a three part Lost At E Minor video series that puts the spotlight on some young, handpicked Australian creatives, doing inspirational things within their chosen fields. Episode Three features 16-year old Melbourne-based producer, Gab Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper), who has racked up thousands of plays over the past year or so via a number of well-blogged remixes ranging from City Calm Down and The Townhouses to bootlegs of The xx and Bon Iver.
