Chad Vangaalen’s music is fantastic. He conjures up some very bizarre stories in his songs and completely does his own thing. Not only does he create music, but he also animates his own music videos, which are equally as amazing. It’s as if he is from another world.

I’m not sure what I like more: Chad VanGaalen’s dreamy campfire rock tune or it’s alluring animated video clip. Or maybe I’m just swept away by both since the psychedelic video perfectly fits the song. It’s a warping, Fantastic Planet’esque creation, abounding with blue-skinned aliens and fanciful, intergalactic landscapes. The man is a genius and even illustrated this video, as well as the album artwork.
