With most news often harsh and serious, I find Noontime Stories to be a fun adventure that offer a quick escape from reality to be enjoyed anywhere from your work station to your electronic device on the subway.

Mentalgassi is an amazing blog documenting street art in Spain. The art is blunt and showcases people in an unusual light. The Public Intimacy Series, for instance, shows a man doing mundane activities in public. There’s a bathroom set up in a photo booth, a living room set up on a subway platform, as well as a mirror he uses to shave, propped up against the underground wall. You’ll have a hard time looking away.

It’s such a simple site, but I guarantee you can get stuck in a trance here for hours. You choose the colors and then watch pixelated sand fall down your computer monitor.
