From the inside of the jackets I found that they had been designed by the late <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Low" target="_blank">Joseph Low</a>, who was a prolific children&#8217;s book illustrator whose work was regularly featured in the New Yorker for four decades.
