I’ve drawn all my life, but didn’t get into pen and ink work until I was 14. I was highly influenced by the comic books I grew up with, such as Spawn, Bad Kitty, Spider Man, and Lady Death. For the longest time, I would try and work with ‘fine art’ technical pens, such as Microns and Staedtlers. But I always preferred to use Sharpies. One day, I finally decided that it doesn’t matter what type of pens you have. So now I just stick to Sharpie.
