Finnish singer-songwriter Mirel Wagner’s self-titled debut album is full of stripped down acoustic songs that are filled with death and melancholia. This is definetly not your average album for the sunny day at the beach.

Squint Limited is a London-based company that produces colorful and imaginative furniture. The contrast between traditional shape and the psychedelic use of colours is mind-blowing. Every piece is a unique, handmade work of contemporary art.
Chicago-based artist and illustrator Travis Lampe’s work is highly influenced by the old-timey cartoons and animations. Despite the fact that unicorns and rainbows are a big part of his visual imagery, his works are usually pretty sad, but in a fun kind of way.
The Tiger Lillies are a three-piece band from London. Their combination of Brechtian gypsy cabaret, darkly humorous lyrics, and singer Martyn Jacques’ falsetto voice is a combination you can’t miss. Their new album, Rime of the Ancient Mariner, was released last week.
