Juan Rayos specializes in filming skate videos. He’s become more famous thanks to his Chicas at Longboard videos. The videos show two jugglers together – on one hand, Kilian Martin dancing with the board as an extension of his own body, and on the other, Rayos always following the action very closely. Dope! It’s not easy to film while skating, and even harder to achieve that kind of fluidity.

This app was made in BCN by Marcos Alonso. It has impressive usability and musical production possibilities in addition to many different samples playback modes: tape emulator, looper, scratch. It has everything you might demand of a sampler machine, and even more – pithcbend, reverse, slicer, shuffle, quantization, and the sort. You can also record impossible sounds simply by gesturing. And on top of it all, the app incorporates some FX as filters, delays or reverbs. Playing up to four samples at the same time, the fun is guaranteed to last a long time.

Befaco is a bunch of people based in Barcelona. They are analog synth lovers and rather geeky. They practice what we call in the scene DIY (Do it yourself), manufacturing modular panels under Befaco’s brand name. They are able to clone classic synthesizers … at least, that’s what I’ve read in the forum and I believe it. One of their latest toys is the Slicer V3, the enhanced version of its two predecessors. This is nothing but a sequencer/audio slicer/vco. You can buy this equipment already assembled. Or even better, buy the kit and assemble it yourself.
