His statues can be seen worldwide, from The Royal Collection at Buckingham Palace to high profile public commissions including the celebrated statue of Johnny Haynes at Fulham Football Club Stadium and his widely acclaimed portrait of President Barack Obama.

His artistic approach to sculpture is varied both in style and medium, sculpting with sensitivity to the human form, whether in miniature or large scale bronze. His work not only captures the strong aesthetic of his subjects, but reflects their personality and character in his highly accomplished style.

And with good reason. This British band have been conquering the world with a sound that can only be described as downright dirty. Fronted by Kelvin Swaby, notable fans of the band include David Letterman, who in 2010, enjoyed their explosive live performance on his CBS show so much he begged for an encore.

Sound system culture in the UK is what Hip Hop Block Parties were to the US. In the eighties, these sounds took on American and Jamaican influences and gave them an English twist with explosive results. Although too young to go to the soundclashes at the time, Live at the Soul Dayer was a live album which was a MASSIVE influence on me while growing up. It’s an amazing piece of history pressed onto vinyl: a live recording of England’s finest soul and Hip Hop sound systems, including Main Attraction, TNT and Beatfreak.

Many years ago I used to DJ with a guy who wore a Double Goose at gigs. He nearly caught on fire twice from errant cigarette butts, came close to starting fights because he kept on nudging into people cos it was so big, spilt drinks everywhere, and at the end of the night, he had lost about three stone because he was sweating so much from wearing it in a hot club. Saying all that, they do look the business.

And We Are Tea share the same passion. Operating from opposite St. Pauls cathedral, not only do they have a cool tea shop, but they make their own award-winning blends. Trust me, these guys are turning the art of tea into alchemy.
