Midnight Juggernauts are another awesome Australian band. There’s something amazing going on in the land of Oz, with Empire of the Sun, Pnau, and these guys. I really wish they were coming to London to brighten up my dark, mysterious winters. Come on boys, you know you wanna!

I’ll let you in on a secret. If you’re heading East towards Brick Lane and are hungry, forget about all those cheap and non flavorsome restaurants, which surround the area door to door, encouraging you to come in for a cheap bite. Go around the corner, instead, off Bethnal Green Rd and you’ll find a Turkish favorite, Tas Firin. It’s such a nice surprise: even the décor has a charm, with shoes on the makeshift roof, which in turn is the drinks station. The hummus and halloumi are a must. My favorites are the Adana and Iskender dishes, but don’t order them together as the portions are huge.

MIIIIIIKKKKKKKKEEE SNNNNNNOOOOWWW. Well, actually, Miike Snow. While everyone is obsessed with his track Animal, I’m loving his track Black and Blue from his new self-titled album.

The brilliant video for the We Have Band song, You Came Out, was directed by David Wilson in collaboration with Fabian Berglund and Ida Gronblom from Wieden + Kennedy. The music is a fun electronic mix, and the video was shot over two days using 4,816 still images.

Walton Creel has created art with the use of a rifle given to him by his father as a present. Deweaponizing the Gun is an ongoing series where Walton puts an accent on his subject matter and creates pictures of animals which are traditionally hunted. His first experiment came about by creating a hole on a surface through canvas, though that was too stressed, so he moved on to aluminum, while also understanding how far apart his shots would need to be to create these amazing pieces.

I don’t care what any of you say, sequin leggings rock. They are so trashy. Forget about the wet look leggings, it’s so last year, girls. It’s the glamor, the trash of the 80s. I’m not sure how long these will last, but they are shiny and pretty and I suppose it’s better than my addiction to harem pants. Talk about flash in the pan.

Om Records are turning the big fifteen and to celebrate they’re going to release the double disc, Om:15 album, featuring exclusive tracks from Radio Slave, Charles Webster, Crazy P, Atjazz, Fish Go Deep, John Beltran and more. Everyone who doesn’t live in London thinks London it’s a twenty-four hour city. Errr, it’s not. This can be frustrating, especially when you realise it’s the early hours of the morning and you want to carry on with the party. I love Crif Dogs. I’m sure most of the locals in New York know about this awesome hot dog place, but for those new to the area, it’s a must see, do and eat. Alberto Rojas Newton creates complex photographs using loads of texture and varied colour. He grew up in Colombia, has lived in Paris, and now is based in London, where he is quickly positioning himself as one of photography’s real emerging talents.

Nathan Sawaya creates art with lego bricks, creating fun, colorful blocks of large-scale sculptures. He started using lego bricks in his art early on in 2000. Mythbreakers wanted to see if they could make a large large ball and roll it down the hill without it breaking. But they didn’t have enough lego pieces, so they called upon Sawaya to supply them with lego bricks. Mythbusters tried rolling it down the hill, but it didn’t roll straight and broke apart before it hit the car. Sawaya advises to use glue.
