Molo’s work is even featured in MoMA’s permanent collection, and now they are focusing their efforts on creating temporary solutions for disaster relief. It’s amazing how a material as mundane as paper can be so versatile.

Alex Trochut is an illustrator, designer, and typographer based in both Barcelona and Brooklyn. His series of Binary Prints pushes the boundaries of traditional two-dimensional work by showing two separate images on one surface – one image is visible in the light, and a completely different image is visible in the dark.

Trochut invented this elaborate technique himself, collaborating with some of the premiere contemporary electronic musicians, such as James Murphy, Caribou, Four Tet, Damian Lazarus, John Talabot, and Acid Pauli. Binary Prints explore the duality of the performers’ personalities. The prints come alive in the dark, just like the DJs themselves.

Every Instagram user knows that you can use the built-in filters to give your photos that vintage feel, but now you can take that retro obsession to a whole new level. Introducing Projecteo, a tiny projector that lets you bring your favorite Instagrams to life. It’s about the size of a matchbox, and each wheel holds nine of your photos. Just connect your Instagram account to the Projecteo website, and they’ll develop your shots on 35mm film. Both the projector and the wheel of images will arrive together in the mail.

Based in West Hollywood, charitable start-up company LSTN Headphones makes high quality headphones from gorgeous reclaimed wood. Not only are these headphones aesthetically pleasing, their wooden body allows for a rich listening experience at a very reasonable price.

There are three styles of headphones available in three different types of wood: a dark ebony, a rich cherry, and a light beech. Even more incredible than their headphones is their mission: LSTN Headphones is partnered with the Starkey Hearing Foundation, and the sales of their headphones directly benefits the foundation’s work to restore hearing to those in need. These stylish headphones are going on my wish list for sure.

More specifically, the little creatures we often choose to ignore.

Inspired by a love for nature and travel, Reusens creates these extreme close-ups using a technique called focus stacking. This technique involves taking multiple photographs with different shutter speeds to increase the depth of field. Each final composition is a combination of between 2 and 200 different exposures, creating this unique science-fiction look.

Blogger Miha Tamura happens to be mildly obsessed with them, and she documents the coolest ones she sees on her blog, Tokyo Escalator. Tamura’s photographs have also been compiled into a book that includes short stories. Yes, we agree, it’s about time the lowly escalator got the attention it deserves.

Foldable bicycles are great for cyclists who want a convenient and portable bike, but until now, they’ve lacked the suspension and riding comfort of traditional bicycles. UK-based Jelly Products has created a spoke-less wheel designed to bring suspension to foldable bikes. The Loopwheel replaces spokes with an innovative spring system, giving foldable bike riders the cushion they’ve been missing.

If you’re interested in this smooth ride, you can fund the Loopwheel Kickstarter here.
