I stumbled upon this song purely by accident and ever since I’ve been sharing it and replaying it constantly. His falsetto adds such a melancholy that really fortifies the dark and dismal subject matter of the song. It took a few listens to realize this because the R&B rhythm keeps it fairly optimistic. A perfectly executed contrast.
