I’ve known/known of Mike Mitchell for quite a few years now. He’s a great example of where long hours and dedication can get you. Mitchell was responsible for creating the digital painting of Conan O’Brien that sparked the Team Coco brand. He is an outstanding portrait painter and has a knack for giving a visual voice to current affairs and pop culture trends. Their first album, Aim and Ignite, was amazing, and they have returned in full force with Some Nights. Check out the track, We Are Young [watch video below], a really addictive song.

I literally JUST stumbled across Ryan Andrew’s work fairly recently, and was absolutely blown away. He is an illustrator and comic book artist, who dabbles in pixel art. His amazing Star Wars pixel renditions are what initially lured me in to view the rest of his work. I recommend reading his web comic title, Sarah and the Seed, beautifully illustrated and a really emotional and heart-warming story.
