I have just started selling limited edition prints of my photographic works. In all of my images, I find myself deconstructing nature, whether it’s a landscape, or a flower, or even food. I then reconstruct these natural things to create my own world, in which things exist in a way that they do not in nature.
Paper Moon is the name of a series of photographs by Australian photographer Jenny Von Sommers. Long-obsessed with the solar system, she set about creating a beautifully lo-fi set of planets made out of paper, upholstery, garden ornaments and habitat lamps. I think the results speak for themselves. STUNNING!

This Friday October 21 marks the eighth anniversary of Elliott Smith’s death. A great musician and a favourite of mine for a long time, his music has always inspired me. Go and listen to Coming Up Roses now in celebration of this great artist.
