I really, really love this blog. Renee Ruin covers art, fashion, trends, with an emphasis on tattoo, fetish and grunge culture and she digs up the most amazing stuff. Ruin seems to like the same artists I do, including the seriously talented Brian M. Viveros.

A friend introduced me to the art of RubyMay Scanlon. She’s a young Australian artist combining a great sense of design with a nice handling of mixed media and some quirky ideas. Her work is well layered, without being overworked. One to keep your eye on.

A friend sent me this video link. It’s not terribly recent, but I love the quirky animation style of the video clip. The singer is a lovely mix of CocoRosie and Lisa Mitchell (two of my faves). It’s lovely.
