For the Co-Create series, we’ve invited six of Australia’s most talented creative talents to produce original work exclusively for Lost At E Minor inspired by some of their favourite posts on the site and using only the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. In this installment, Rod Smith, formerly of Firekites, now of North Arm, took inspiration from an image of a person on a rock formation in the Australian outback that looked exactly like someone surfing a rock wave to create this beautiful, atmospheric video for his own composition, Onwards Upwards. These are his words about the creative process.

By Lost At E Minor in Video on Thursday 21 August 2014

We love this video by our friends at College Humor which casts us back to our earliest days of trying to work out where the heck we came from and what it all had to do with birds and bees. Birds and bees, really? It seems that sex education had a long path to follow […]

Our friends at Buzzfeed asked some people recently if they’d get their first ever tattoos on camera and they agreed. The results speak for themselves: much pain, some laughter, and more contorted expressions than we thought the human face was capable of. Yup, the voyeur in us just kicked into overdrive: perhaps it’s a case […]

By Lost At E Minor in Video on Thursday 21 August 2014

But why, you might ask? Why not, we […]

The reactions of those poor unsuspecting diners around them are priceless! New York-based Improv Everywhere struck in a REAL BIG WAY late last year with this stunt where they discreetly planted 20 women in conversation with their male cohorts in the same Manhattan deli that the original scene was filmed in and let, erm, Mother Nature gradually take its course. Of course!
