Drawn In Bristol presents an Everly Dark exhibition at The Tobacco Factory Bristol running from now until April 28. Dark’s work is a fusion of the Low Brow, Pop Surrealist art movement. Her female forms are solem, yet deeply beautiful and radiate an innocence that is other-worldly. The opening night drew in a crowd of seeminlgy artistic and open-minded characters, continually distracted by the colourful world that stared back at them from behind the wall. Read more

I originally caught wind of these photos on amazing artist/designer Scott Hansen’s blog. These photos, taken by Danny Lyon in Brooklyn in 1974, have such a gritty, yet nostalgic feel to them. As a native New Yorker, any New York history pieces leave me curious. Great finds. [Musician Outasight is writing guest posts for Lost at E Minor] Read more

TIME magazine’s annual Person of the Year issue is coming out this week. I illustrated one of the runner-ups, but of course, I have to keep my mouth completely shut. I don’t know who is the winner though. On TIME’s website, you can see all the past covers of this most talked about issue of each year. It’s a good time to look back history and learn from it anyway, don’t you think?
