We are a collaborative art three piece making large-scale spectacle style works for the gallery and the stage. Our recent project has been the construction of the Grand Chasm, inspired by B grade horror and theatrically enhanced natural wonders. This installation took the form of an enclosed platform that housed a bottomless pit that was revealed at the push of a button. Our works are largely inspired by DIY illusions, kitsch and theatrical tricks.

I saw Erik Omen last year and was super impressed by their music. They put on a great live show, with the charismatic lead singer effortlessly swapping microphone for sax and keyboard. I was treated further when i came across the film clip to their single, Payphone. A simple idea rendered beautifully through what looks like a number of digital and analog production processes to produce a nostalgic lo-fi-high-cool effect.

This video by artist Guy Ben-Ner was shot in a few different IKEA stores with his family as they attempted to make a sitcom using the ready-made fits outs as a set. Watch for the regular IKEA customers walking through the shots.
