Sometimes the dumbest idea is the best idea. Case in point Birdswitharms. This is photoshop at its most inspiring. It is simply tons of photos of birds doctored up to have human arms. I will forever hate myself for not thinking of this first. Thankfully though, somebody else did.

As we are approaching summer here in Philadelphia, I am preparing to stay inside for the next three and a half months. Hot and humid is an excellent motivator to lock yourself in the studio. My most recent work seams to be infused with some sort of rites of Spring/rebirth vibe. Strange for a guy who prefers a foot and a half of snow over a sunny beach any day of the week. Must just be something in the air.

Art and beer are like chocolate and peanut butter: two good things that are best when paired together. Keith Shore, a talented artist, figured out a way to combine these two when he signed on as the designer for Danish super-brewer, Mikkeller. Now his stylish labels, t-shirts and posters are as much a part of the brewery’s identity as the world-class beer they make. Next time, consider hanging one of their bottles on the wall instead of tossing into the recycling bin.

If being talented, super cool, and insanely prolific was all it took to hit the big time, then these boys would be crazy paid. Sunny Ali and the Kid do not even know what a genre is (I mean that in a good way). I hope that someday they stop making music, so I can just go back to having the Big Pimpin beat on a constant loop in my head. Their song, Two Girls, is them at their finest. It also has a great video.
