I love tattoos. On my quest to find inspiration for a particular tattoo I found on the Internet, I stumbled across Hus & Hem completely out of nowhere. As an admirer of antlers in a home or work space, I’m always looking for a substitute for an actual animal that is fun. They have other options of cool decor made out of recycled materials that you can build in minutes without glue or tools.

Spray paint is the quickest way to update something, create artwork, or paint a mural without breaking the bank. I have always liked Montana Paints, in particular, because they have such a great range of colors and have branched out to release markers, sketchbooks, and other accessories. They have a greater selection of specific colors that sets them apart from the rest.

Yes, stickers! Stickers of any kind! As a small boy, I was never happy with how school books, journals, or sketch pads looked. I always found it so difficult and frustrating to find anything that represented me. So my answer was to completely cover everything in stickers. I like the sticker’s ability to let me express myself in my own way and I find that they have opened doors to conversations with that hottie next to me.

What do you get when you mix the cool vision of David LaChapelle and Amanda Lepore? Time Tranny. With our electric devices making wrist watches a thing of the past, I love the idea of keeping it old school. I even wear my watches with the face of the watch on the inside of my wrist.

I’ve been admiring the work of Portland illustrator John Klassen for a while now. I’m irrepressibly drawn to his muted, textured landscapes, in all their mysterious glory. No coincidence then that a Coraline section should have recently appeared on his site. It just makes me want to see the movie even more. Read more

Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs are primarily remembered for the song Wooly Bully, but I’ve been incessantly listening to Little Red Riding Hood. As a metalhead, any song that features howling makes me happy.
