By Joanne Thies in New Music on Wednesday 11 April 2012

Want a middleman to seek out all the music you never have time to take the time risk to randomly click and listen for yourself on Youtube? I found one. Please mark your diary for this one: August 15. Luisa Rossitto draws and paints. I want to drown in her watercolors, eat her handdrawn florals, and befriend her odd characters. Her large works are such an absurd and alluring feast for the eyeballs.

By Joanne Thies in New Fashion on Tuesday 10 April 2012

I’ve recently taken up knitting as a way to soothe the daily desktop grind and in an attempt to disconnect from my deep technology immersion. I hit the needles in the early evenings, and I find it reconnects me with my love of tactile creation. Knitting is also a strange repetitive form of mediation. I got a bit knitting crazy and recently set off on an online hunt to find all things knitting. I quickly found Yokoo, who is simply known as Yokoo.
