I think this is Zachary Cale’s third album, but this one and its creator are new to me. Folk-rock with some meat and licks and swagger. Probably the best songwriter record I’ve heard in a year or so.

The new Richard Buckner album comes out in August, but someone gave me an advance in trade for doing a guest write-up on a website. Buckner is worth gushing about. And blood gushes. Does old blood gush? Did it clot already? Let’s gush for it. Mmmmm, I love all his music.
