This is one of the cleverest and most beautiful live performances I’ve seen. The Tree Ring plays their song, Wore it Deep, up in an attic, where the entire audience interacts with their performance. This lovely little film captures the essence of this performance perfectly, and makes me wish that I were actually there.

Lilfuchs has a unique, psychedelic style to his animations where drawings seamlessly morph into one another. When an artist of this creative caliber teams up with an awesome band like Holy Ghost!, along with Adult Swim, the result is bound for greatness. Throw in a one-eyed, God-like figure into the equation, and you’ll get this wild music video.

3D audio (aka binaural audio) is yet to become massively popular, but it somehow seems way cooler than 3D visuals. POGO, who is widely known for creating catchy Disney sampled songs, has released the 3D version of his song Upular, which was created using samples from Pixar’s Up. Put some stereo headphones on and have your mind blown.

There’s something amazing about a film that can be driven and connected entirely through the visual representation of words, without using many words at all. This is one of those films where you can get something different out of it, and discover something new about it with each viewing. Oh, the beauty of words. And film.

Tiny Fuppets is a ridiculous new web series, based off an already famous TV series that you might know. This show may force you to ask the questions: is this supposed to be this bad, or is this for real? The amazing subtitles are all part of the beauty, and the more you watch, the funnier the show gets!

I love how the Internet has given experimental films the potential to become hugely popular. This film is a stunning combination of sound and visuals that flow perfectly together. It combines stop-motion, with digital animation, and a whole lot of creativity. Inanimate objects dance together in perfect syncopation in this shot of artistic espresso, created by the Mixtape Club.
The colour schemes and background technique in Robert Carter’s work reminds me of William Blake’s Ancient of Days painting. What’s intriguing is that the Toronto-based Carter traditionally paints his work before scanning it to apply final digital touch ups. Read more

Lindstrom, the man who single-handedly coined the term ‘minimal space-disco’ (well, perhaps nudged in the right direction by Orbital et al), recently released a new, rather ambitious, album, Where You Go I Go Too. Weaving between ambient trance and breakbeat-flecked disco, the producer responsible for the mesmerizing reworking of that tune we all secretly love, Roxy Music’s Avalon, has produced a worthy follow-up to his 2006 album, ‘It’s A Feedility Affair’. This time, however, there’s only three tracks, ranging between 10 and 29 minutes in length, and the Eno/Ferry influence is thankfully clear to all.

I wasn’t aware of who Emilio Pucci was until my work was compared to his for the hundredth time. I’m happy to have anyone make that connection. I’m not a high fashion person. I keep to the basics and feel alright about it. The introduction to his work was mind blowing for me. Not only for the rich colors and patterns, but how those things worked with the human form. It was an interesting revelation, and one that has sparked more interest for me to explore fashion as a medium for art.
