Nicoine is a scultpor and painter from Avignon, France. New to the computer and digital world, she explores the possibilities of the most basic software. Some of her paintings, done with MSPaint, have a naïve and playful feel. Her body of work extends to puppet crafting and etching. In between childlike lines, vivid colors and distorted people’s faces and bodies, her work touches the heart through its honesty. An interesting artist, truly underground, that the world has yet to discover.

Wu Yimeng is a graphic designer from Berlin who works on book layouts and print for cultural events. Having been in Paris and Berlin after growing up in Shanghai, her rich cultural background blends elegant Chinese tradition with real and digital paint. Her work feels well-balanced, light and playful. Her series of posters for the Berlin Confucius Insitute – the Chinese Cultural center – is remarkable for its theme and approach: objects of daily life bring a visual warmth while standing there without people around.
