		<p>I began this project with the somewhat creepy idea to photograph the people I meet during my travels &#8211; whilst they were asleep. 		<p>Ancient artifacts from the <a href="http://www.wellcomecollection.org" target="_blank">Wellcome Collection</a> in London, have been recently documented by photographer <a href="http://thomatkinson.com/#/projectsb" target="_blank">Thom Atkinson</a>. <span id="more-79934"></span></p>
<p>This gives all of us who can&#8217;t physically visit a chance to view this stockpile of curiosities. What a treasure trove of the bizarre it is! Ancient torture devices, a witch hunter&#8217;s manual, preserved tattoos and mechanical vibrators all neatly photographed against a clean white background.<br />
