I made this early in 2011. It was fun getting people to kill their boyfriends (two of them were real-life, one was a brother). In retrospect, I’m glad they were all bloodless killings. I think fake blood would have killed the mood.

I remember loving Robocop when I was a little baby, and now someone has gone and collated all the brilliant fictional news items and advertisements into a sweet seven minute block. Scary, hilarious stuff.

An internet classic. I will always love this site. The best ones are the 13 year old kids with peacock blue hair dye who pose in front of the fireplace when their parents are on date night. I’m usually quite generous with my ratings. Read more

 

Infinite Comic takes random Flickr images and pairs them with random Twitter tweets to create a comic. Users can type in search terms to look for related images and tweets for a more custom comic, but the results are still absurd and amusingly non-sensical.

According to B.R. Meyers over at The Atlantic, there is a scourge of foodies looming over America. Foodies are bad because they fly to Vietnam for pho. All of them do, which is evil. But even if they stopped doing that, Meyers would still be mad because he hates that people enjoy food at all. Anthony Bourdain is the devil for encouraging people to love cooking, Michael Pollan is evil for making the elitist claim that fast food is bad for us. Read more

Brooklyn-based Polaroid artist Matt Schwartz, from She Hit Pause Studios, has been photographing his whimsical images of girls, surf culture and vintage finds for the past eight years. Schwartz takes large format Polaroids, pulls apart the film, and then rubs the negative onto watercolor paper. Read more
