He has made a number of wonderful and highly praised award winning shorts. We are eagerly awaiting his debut feature which he is current working on. Expect something epic.

March Into The Sun is Foxx on Fire’s new summertime single. We recorded the track in post industrial Sheffield with Colin Elliot; Richard Hawley’s long-time producer and collaborator. The music video was filmed in the misty and mystical hills of West Cork, Ireland. The shooting was epic but fun. It was like playing transcendental hide and seek. Although we all wore inappropriate footwear and nearly got frostbite from running around in the cold with completely drenched shoes for 5 days. Edward our keyboardist, sadly lost one shoe to the bog.

Contact Dancing is an improvisational dance technique in which body contact is the key factor in the articulation of the dance. This was introduced to us earlier this year, and ever since, we have been incorporating this style of dancing into our nights out at clubs, parties and sometimes even our live shows.

 

My collaborative project with fellow printmaker Damon Kowarsky is going to be at Aesop Aoyama store in Tokyo. Permanent installations and temporal exhibitions on our printmaking dialogues since 2010 will be on display from Friday September 9. Read more

Beijing-based band Hanggai write original songs in the traditional folk styles of their Mongolian ancestors — throat-singing, horsehair fiddles, lutes — spearheading an Asian version of the old-time revival.
