Guy and Tim run Wax Museum Records, a dope joint in Melbourne to dig and find those gems you can’t get anywhere else. I tend to find some of the coolest soul and funk records I have at Wax Museum. They also put on various club nights around Melbourne. There always seems to be a big turnout. They are situated underneith Flinders Street Station in the city.

Yimmy runs a blog called Yimmy’s Yayo. I know nothing about him; I have no idea how old he is. But his blog is one of my favourites. I check it ten times a day just to see what he has posted. It usually consists of half-naked girls, old school rap photos, and out-of-date video games. But he doesn’t post writing or give his view on any of this. It’s just images and video. I use it as inspiration for my own creativity. It gets me through the everyday grind of a 9 to 5 job.

This is the most amazing place to eat, drink and chill. Miletos, which is in the Windsor end of Melbourne’s Chapel St, is a family-owned business. It has a rustic feel: the layout is something straight from the rolling hills of South Gippsland. You have to try one of Laura’s freshly made cakes. which are cooked fresh every morning, or the crowe favourite, The Shag, which will make your head explode with flavour. [Photo by Liz McLeish]

Polo Club is my band. We’re from Melbourne. We were originally a two piece, but we have expanded to a four piece over the past 18 months.

Cam and myself started writing songs together in 2009. We released an album that same year entitled The 13. It was a Hip Hop record, but spread across many genres, such as dance and electro. We set out to make club bangers that would thump on the dance-floor. With the addition of Adam and Aidan, the creative direction and sound has changed quite a bit. Adam’s vocals have an erry indie edge and Aidan’s live drums rock the shit out of the show. I love it. We have an EP set for release in August.

Tali Gal-On is a good friend of my band Polo Club and a true talent. She has the most amazing voice, and has recorded a heap of stuff for us over the past year. She also does the coolest animations and design. All the Milk and Cookies stuff is for sale. I just love the simplicity of Tali’s illustrations.
