I really like the minimalist style of this animation by George Shelbourn. The color scheme makes me feel like I’m at an old arcade. It also experiments with the letterbox aspect ratio. I love it when movies play around with their format in unexpected ways.
Stop-motion animation always looks amazing, and this music video for a song by Josh Ritter is no exception. It was made with thousands of cut-out pieces of construction paper, and every time you think you’ve seen all they can do with the medium, they hit you with some amazing new effect.
