Rad Nails have created this Hot Man-icure set, whereby you can affix the faces of hot men onto your nails. I don’t think there is a girl in the world that wouldn’t want Ryan Gosling at their fingertips. In fact, it would be hard to find many that would complain about Robert Pattinson, Joe Jonas, Zac Efron or Pharrell either.

A finger painting that doesn’t look like a huge mess. Who knew? New York-based artist Judith Braun has drawn directly onto the wall with her fingers dipped in charcoal dust to create a 50-foot mural, currently on show at the Chrysler Museum of Art in Virginia.

RayFish Footwear makes customised shoes from genetically engineered stingray skin. You can select a design online that scientists will then grow directly on a stingray before it’s skinned to make the kicks. I’m sure PETA will have something to say about this.

It’s refreshing to find a Pinterest board that isn’t full of bridal shower ideas or decorative food. Which is why I’m loving this gem: the Best of Taylor Hanson. It also seems like a great way for a Hanson fan like me to control my appreciation in a tasteful way, rather than creepin’ around on [...]

Copenhagen Cycle Chic is a photo blog that captures the stylish cycling population of this hipster capital city. It really is like The Sartorialist for bicycle lovers.

These Italian twill silk scarves are part of a limited-edition run by London based visual artist Misha Milovanovich. Misha cites travel, 60s prints, Allen Ginsberg’s poetry, Pop Art, Jazz music and New York as her inspiration, and claims to ‘spin, rhyme, mix and scratch her colours and patterns like a Voodoo Hip Hop artist on substances known to alter cognition and perception’. Accompanying artist babble aside, the scarfs are pretty great.

I’m loving these Bed Buds pillow cases designed by American artist Andy Rementer for Australian storefront and online museum, Third Draw Down. Rementer is best known for his colourful gouache portraits, plants and typography work, an example of which can be seen at his latest exhibition at the Ship of Fools gallery in Holland.

Strathcona Stockings make quirky, hand-printed, limited run stockings in their Vancouver studio. If you’re unable to get your hands on a pair (they seem to be pretty much sold out online), the cool and curious array of imagery on their Tumblr site is at least worth checking out.

Zandra Rhodes (aka the fashion designer with the trademark shocking pink bob) has teamed up with pastry chef, Bruce Marais, to design The Mandeville, a hotel hangout for afternoon tea. Even better, the afternoon tea includes ZR cups: chocolate fashioned into little cups filled with bright purple whipped coffee cream. Yum!
