The new Vetiver album, The Errant Charm, features simplified production and beautiful music. It seems like the band’s diverse influences are more apparent than ever on this record.

This is my new favorite jewelry artist. I love how she combines bullet casings with things like crystals and feathers. It’s very soft natural beauty clashing with harsh, man-made hardware. See more of her work on Etsy

A new project by Justin Robinson former member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops. He combines auto harp, cool melodies, viola and violin to make a truly original sound. We love watching this group perform their moody, quirky and catchy tunes. Not to mention the great stage fashion made up of sequined shoes and capes.

When I was five, I had a pet rock. It was a lump of a thing and not nearly as pretty as Geninne’s painted rocks. Sigh. I guess you’re never too old for a rock to rock your world.

I’m about to reveal my true, nerdy colours to you all. The recently released Google Zeitgeist 2010 gives a fascinating overview of what the world was thinking this year by showing us what it searched. Oh World, Justin Bieber? What were you thinking?

The Phenomenal Handclap Band is a collection of musicians and artists from Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn who perform live as an eight-member powerhouse, creating an eye-popping spectacle more akin to a spiritual church revival than a rock show. We have their single, 15 to 20, available for free download via the Music Download section of Lost At E Minor.

What to wear to my openings is always a difficult one. Should I dress-up or wear the paint stained clothing worn producing the work? This time my problem was solved quickly as I discovered the perfect dress from A Name Is A Label. Their pieces have a sculptural appearance, constructed predominantly from second-hand clothing. The label is about ethical, new-century awareness.

The images were selected from almost 500 small artworks created on moleskine paper, inspired by vintage pornography and a trip to Japan. Read more
