I’m excited to have the band Thousands joining me for some upcoming touring. I’m a new fan of their music. I like its humanity and exposed feeling. It’s like a box of old photographs. And this video is the collage they made from them.
These days more and more folks are exploring bamboo as a ‘sustainable’ building material. There’s even a few bicycle companies that are using it to build frames. But there’s one company in particular, California-based Bamboosero, that has created a business model around bamboo that does more than sell a ‘green’ bike.
Last year, around this time, I had just returned home from being stuck overseas in Sweden due to the volcano eruption in Iceland. I missed gigs and events back in the States, but not all was lost. In Stockholm, I found the work of artist and engineer Tomas Saraceno.
