I recently discovered photographer Clarke Tolton’s work and really enjoy it. Whether it’s surf or skate photos or work for clients like Urban Outfitters or Nylon, his color and black and white images are equally great.

Jason has been one of my favorite photographers for some time now. I’ve always enjoyed how his images can feel both abstract and personal at the same time. His new show, I Heart Transylvania, which opened recently at San Francisco’s Little Big Man Gallery, is another great collection of photos. The series spans four years, shot mostly in Vancouver, B.C., and chronicles his relationship with his now wife, Megan.

Skateboarder and documentary filmmaker Stacey Peralta’s new film tells the story of The Bones Brigade, the 1980s skate team he created. The team featured a young Tony Hawk, along with other legends like Steve Caballero and Rodney Mullen, and went on to change the way people looked at skateboarding forever.

I have been contributing to The Photocopy Club since its beginning. Curated by Matt Martin, the monthly exhibitions held in the UK feature photocopied images from photographers all over the world. The goal is to make print photography more accessible since xeroxing images is one of the cheapest ways to print.

Photography team JUCO (Julia Galdo and Cody Cloud) have a dynamic use of color in their work. Their new series for Lulu’s Fall campaign is no different. Their set, designed by Adi Goodrich, features brightly colored carpet, which is something you don’t usually see in most fashion photography.
