These magnificent flowers look like they have the galaxy on their petals

Apparently, you don’t have to look far to see distant galaxies. All you have to do is to look inside a flower shop.

The Night Sky Petunia, scientifically known as Petunia cultivars, is a flower that is truly out of this world. It’s characterised by luminous white markings juxtaposed against the petals’ deep purple colour. Once they bloom, the plants start to resemble faraway clusters of stars and planets.

Picked up these Night Sky Petunias for my Grandma's garden 💜 They don't even look real 😍

The flowers, which can grow up to 16 inches, get their unique patterns from the extreme change between day and night temperatures. Meaning, if you want to grow your own, you’ll have to keep them warm during the day (about 100° F) and cool during the evening (around 50°F).

You can find a packet of Night Sky Petunia seeds over on Amazon.
