In many ways, Australians and Americans have a lot in common.
We’re both first-world democratic nations, we all watched Friends growing up, and we both have a suuuuuupeeeerrrr racist history.
But any Aussie that’s gone across the pond knows that even though we both technically speak English, we certainly do not speak the same language.
That became abundantly evident when Robert Irwin (son of Steve, brother of Bindi…you know the guy) went on Family Feud.
(Quick sidebar: When the hell did Robert Irwin turn into a teenager – it seems like yesterday his father was dangling him in crocodile enclosures as a newborn, how time flies…)
When trying to answer the question, “Something a five-year-old might ask a bank to loan him money to buy,” young Rob left host Steve Harvey completely gobsmacked – unable to decipher his Aussie accent.
Goodonya Rob, always remember where you came from Cobber.
