You might not have gotten an acceptance letter from Hogwarts, but maybe you just might get something equally good: a role in the Fantastic Beasts sequel.
Warner Bros is having an open casting call for five people who can play the younger versions of Newt Scamander, Leta Lestrange, Gellert Grindelwald, Albus Dumbledore, and a new character named Sebastian.
Interested applicants have to be between the ages 13-16 to be Scamander, Lestrange, and Sebastian, and 16-18 to play the roles of a teenage Dumbledore and Grindelwald. Also, no previous acting experience necessary.
This isn’t the first time the Harry Potter franchise has held an open casting call. The stars of the original eight movies were mostly unknowns selected at such events.
If you’re looking to try your luck, all you have to do is send a recent photo, contact number, address, and birth date to the email address, firstname.lastname@example.org.
The open casting call closes on June 20. Filming starts this summer, with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2 set to hit cinemas in November 2018.
